British dealers received first-hand information by visiting Baoli’s global headquarters
Prague (Czech Republic), November 2014 – Maxim (GB), the exclusive distributor of Baoli Material Handling Europe in the UK, rewarded its most successful dealers of the year and visited together with them the headquarters and production facilities of KION Baoli in Jingjiang close to Shanghai. The trip took place in the first week of November and included meetings with the company’s top management and offered insight into KION Baoli’s long-term strategy. The five dealers joining the group were Bendigo Mitchell from Warwickshire, Champion Forklifts from Dorset, DAB Handling from Glasgow, Farmer Forklifts from Lancashire and Mid Sussex Forklifts from Sussex.
“It was very impressive for us to visit the Baoli factory and see the production lines of the new diesel series, the latest electric forklifts as well as the new electric pallet truck ‘City Mover’”, said Ian Capes, Managing Director of Maxim. “We were also able to see the quality control system and had the opportunity of test driving new models and prototypes. This was a great opportunity to experience the reliable new Baoli trucks planned for the immediate future.”
“In addition to test driving new models, we informed the participants about the company’s strategy concerning products, sales, services and marketing”, adds Rory Harvey-Kelly, General Manager of Baoli Material Handling Europe, who also joined the group during its stay in China.
Maxim (GB) distributes Baoli material handling equipment across the UK by an exclusive network of experienced dealers. The cooperation of Maxim and Baoli has started in 2005 and thanks to recent investments made by both sides, sales in the UK have doubled in the last two years.
